S.O.S. (Senior Outreach Sevier)
"Together we can make a difference"
"Senior Outreach Sevier" is a new program working in cooperation with the Sevierville Police Department, the Sevier County Sheriffs Department, the Sevier Counth Elder Watch and the Sevier County Office on Aging. Together these agencies assist seniors in Sevier County by helping the find the resources they need and provide help with necessary applications via home visits by trained volunteers.
  If you would like to be on our Senior Outreach List for visits or assistance, please fill out our referral form. The form can be printed from this web page or one can be picked up at the Sevier County Office on Aging.

  As an S.O.S. volunteer, you would become an advocate for those in need by making use of your experience to give back to those who for so many years gave so much to you.
  How do I become a S.O.S. Volunteer?
    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Agree to a background check with no criminal history
    • Possess a valid Tennessee Drivers License
    • Complete training for CPR certification (as well as safety precautions for bloodborne pahtogens)
    • Training for the process in helping seniors find and obtain community resources.
(Optional training for bi-lingual assistance.)
