My Library Card
You may access your library account by going to
You must have a PIN number to access your account. Check with your branch library.
Lost Library Cards
Report a lost or stolen card immediately to prevent the unapproved use of your card. A lost or stolen card may be reported in person or by telephone without the card number. The replacement fee for lost cards is $3.00.
Lost/Damaged Library Materials
If you damage or lose a book, video, or other library item, you will be charged for a replacement plus a processing fee per item. If item is later found and returned, the replacement cost will be refunded. The processing fee is non-refundable. The lost/damaged item will be on your account. Any unpaid fines over $5.00 will result in the loss of library privileges until paid.
Your PIN
A library PIN will permit you to view your account. If you forget your PIN, library staff can check your account information to either tell you your PIN number or issue a new one.
Returned item still showing on your library account
Please contact the library if an item you returned has not been checked in and remains listed on your account. Report your library card number, the title of the item, and the location you returned it to. We will search to confirm the item is returned. If it is found, the library will remove any applicable fees. Meanwhile, please double-check that you do not have the item in your possession.
How do you put an item on Hold?
Ask a librarian if the item is available in the system. Tell the librarian which library you would like to have the item sent to. When the item is returned to the library, a tag with your name will be placed on it and you will be called to inform you it is available. You will have 7 days to pick up the item.

Renewing by Phone
Call any Sevier County Public Library branch.
  You will need to have your library card number to access your account.
  Please have the materials at hand.
  You may renew overdue materials once.
Approved User
An approved user is another resident of your household who is 18 or older. You must visit a library to designate an approved user for your account. You accept responsibility for all actions that occur as a result of this access.
To access the patron account to which one is an approved user, the approved user must do one of the following:
  Present the library card.
  Present an approved form of ID and: KNow the name and address of the patron and be listed by the patron as an approved user on the account.
